I will be posting pictures about my people’s art and culture, and the great lake Lanao. We are the People of the Lake or the Meranaos. Our lake happens to be one of the most ancient lakes in the whole world with an estimated age of 3.5 – 20 million years old. Older than the age of Man!
Perhaps my people are also as ancient. But one thing is sure, our lake prides itself of being home to very old species of fish, which unfortunately are threatened. Take a look at the pictures and know that these pictures you are looking are the last of them and you are lucky to see them before they are gone. They could only be preserved in memories, and yes, in digital form.
